We take user privacy seriously and take reasonable efforts to protect it. We have created this Privacy Policy in order to share with you our information collection and use practices. We will never knowingly sell or assign your personal information without your knowledge and approval. Please read this Policy carefully before sharing any personally identifiable information described below.

Since this is a growing web site and because Internet technologies are constantly evolving, this Policy is subject to change at any time and any changes will be posted on this page.

  • The personal data we hold may include your name, email address and company details. We will never sell this information or pass it on to anyone else,  it is simply used to provide you with information about our services that we believe you may be interested in.
  • If you would prefer for your information to be deleted, this will happen immediately.

  • If you request any information about the data we hold, we will supply this free-of-charge within 14 days.
  • The lawful basis on which we process data is to keep you informed about services in which you have shown an interest.

What identifiable information do we collect and how is it used?

The only personal information we will ever collect is your email address, phone number and name, if you choose to provide it for the purpose of joining our mailing list.

If so, we may use or disclose your personally identifiable information to:

  • enable you to participate in interactive features of our service, when you choose to do so;
  • provide products/services that you have requested;
  • respond to your enquiries or requests;
  • provide you with information about specials offers, sales or new products or services that we may introduce in the future..

Therefore, leading up to 25th May 2018, all subscribers to our mailing list will be given clear instructions on how to reconsent or unsubscribe from the list. Unsubscribers will be removed immediately, and people who do not indicate a preference may continue to receive periodic emails unless they ask us to remove their details.

The only time we would disclose your name on certain pages at www.redpowerstation.co.uk would be if you have written a testimonial or agreed to participate in a case study; in either case we will have your written agreement to name and quote you.

We will never sell your information to any  third-party not affiliated with Iain Clark t/a Red Power Station without consent.

Matomo is an open source web analytics platform. A web analytics platform is used by a website owner in order to measure, collect, analyse and report visitors data for purposes of understanding and optimizing their website. Matomo is used to analyse the behaviour of the website visitors to identify potential pitfalls; not found pages, search engine indexing issues, which contents are the most appreciated… Once the data is processed (number of visitors reaching a not found pages, viewing only one page…), Matomo is generating reports for website owners to take action, for example changing the layout of the pages, publishing some fresh content… etc.

The processing of personal data with Matomo is based on legitimate interests.

3 – The legitimate interests

Processing your personal data such as cookies is helping us identify what is working and what is not on our website. For example, it helps us identify if the way we are communicating is engaging or not and how we can organize the structure of the website better. Our team is benefiting from the processing of your personal data, and they are directly acting on the website. Matomo is not doing any profiling.

Do we have a newsletter?

We regularly send out a newsletter via email to all users who have supplied their name and email address for that reason (unless they have ‘opted-out’). In these newsletters, we may inform you about new features, upcoming events or special promotions.

Disclosure or sale of your information

At this time, we do not plan to disclose your information to third parties for any reason and would never sell your data.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk.

What about data security?

Of course. We give you the option to remove personally identifiable information from our list of active users.

At the time of writing (21 May 2018) we do not have any advertisers on this website. This policy does not cover the privacy policies of other web sites.
